Parental Support
OPWDD ELIGIBILITY
For successful submissions for OPWDD eligibility determination, our trained professionals will help you obtain all necessary assessments and parental certifications (front door and self-direction), as well as provide guidance and instruction on how to apply for waiver inclusion/request and register with waiver providers.
HCBS Enrollment Coordination
HCBS aims to offer support and services to children/youth in non-institutionalized settings, enabling them to remain at home and in the community to lead self actualized lives, along with to children/youth who were recently discharged from an institutional context and require these services in order to safely return home and community.
Medicaid
Our Medicaid liaisons are readily prepared to advocate on your behalf. We specialize in Medicaid enrollment, the navigation between the available Medicaid managed care plans vs. straight Medicaid, and direct assistance with the transitioning between those plans. Our professionals ensure your child's medical and clinical needs take priority in determining the best options for you and your family.
Developmental Services
La’Dorch Home Care connects families with a range of specialized services through a growing network of pediatric providers. Developmental services include Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Speech Therapy (ST), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy. These services are designed to support the development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, speech, language, swallowing, sensory functions, and behavioral needs.
Occupational Therapy (OT)
Our Occupational Therapy services are designed to improve fine motor skills by focusing on the functions of the fingers and hands. These services aim to enhance daily living activities such as teeth brushing, bike riding, and shoe tying, promoting greater independence. Personalized treatment plans are tailored to individual needs and goals, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
Physical Therapy (PT)
Our Physical Therapy services focus on enhancing gross motor skills and improving ambulation. These services may include recommendations for assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or specialized shoes. Skilled therapists develop customized exercise routines and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function, promoting well-being and independence.
Speech Therapy (ST)
Our Speech Therapy services focus on addressing speech, language, swallowing, and sensory capabilities. Using patient-specific, evidence-based practices, these services are designed to support meaningful advancements in communication and functional abilities, promoting positive outcomes and an improved quality of life.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
Our ABA Therapy services focus on providing behavioral supports and interventions to help children develop essential skills for daily living and social integration. These services are designed to empower children to express their needs and master everyday tasks such as dressing, eating, and bathing, fostering greater independence and confidence.
