NURSING

The goal of nursing is o help patients maintain optimal health while living independently at home with family members or friends. Home visits allow family members to remain involved in the supervision and care of their loved ones while they maintain their normal routines at home without having to leave them alone all day long while they go off to work each day.

Nursing will help with:

Medication management: Nurses can help clients manage their medications by providing education, monitoring for side effects, and ensuring that medications are taken as prescribed.

Wound care: Nurses can provide specialized care for wounds, including cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring for signs of infection.

Disease management: Nurses can work with clients to manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and COPD, providing education, monitoring, and support to help clients stay healthy.

Rehabilitation: Nurses can work with clients who are recovering from surgery, injury, or illness to provide rehabilitation services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

Palliative care: Nurses can provide compassionate care to clients who are experiencing serious illness, helping to manage symptoms, improve quality of life, and provide emotional support to clients and their families.

Mental health support: Nurses can provide mental health support to clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns, providing counseling, medication management, and other support services.
